Migrations

Migrating an advisory firm site

Moving a firm marketing site should feel like a ritual your CCO can describe — not a weekend experiment. Here’s how we approach cutover.

Most advisory sites sit on a host chosen years ago for convenience. Stakeholders rarely care about the brand until someone asks who has admin access, where backups live, or how fast you can restore. Standardizing on finance-only managed WordPress is usually less about the monthly fee and more about a controlled move.

Intake should identify the domain, current host, plugin stack, and dependencies such as membership, custom forms, or analytics. Available host, backup, and DNS access determines the migration plan. Verification scope and the DNS cutover window should be agreed before production changes.

Complexity, third-party systems, and available access determine timing. Migration assistance is included on every plan, in and out. Exam Ready and Firm Command add Evidence Pack materials. Details live on Migrations.
