Updates without breaking the marketing site

Clients and prospects expect the firm site to stay up. Updates are how you stay secure — and how quiet sites break when nobody owns the cadence.

Core, plugin, and theme update management is included in State Street plans. The customer-specific process, validation steps, backup responsibilities, exceptions, and contacts should be documented rather than inferred from a generic promise.

That does not replace visual QA on heavily customized builds. For those, staging review still matters. For typical advisory brochure and lead-gen sites, managed updates remove the monthly chore that often falls between “the marketer” and “whoever has the hosting login.”

Stakeholders should be able to answer: who updates, when, what was tested, and how restore works. That narrative is part of what Exam Ready Evidence Pack materials support. More on our approach: Security and Infrastructure.
